Food Concession Information


PLEASE NOTE: All food concession spaces have been filled for the 2017-2018 shows.

A limited number of food concessions will be available at our shows. Holiday Art Shows is seeking licensed, experienced commercial food vendors. Concession selection will be based on quality and variety of menu items, overall appearance of booth/display and recommendations from others. Those offering regional, ethnic, vegetarian and diverse selections will be given priority. There are a limited number of concession spaces available so it is advisable to apply early for the best chance of acceptance.

Old Town Art Show ~ Saturday & Sunday, March 24 + 25, 2018

Show Hours:
Saturday: 10:00 am - 5:00 pm
Sunday: 10:00 am - 4:00 pm

Set-up:
The Beaches Art Fest: Beginning at 6 pm Friday
Old Town Art Shows: Friday, noon - 7:00 pm
Saturday: 7:00 am - 9:00 am

Break-down:
Sunday ~ 4:01 pm - 9:00 pm. Driving onto the field/street will not be permitted until all customers have left the area.

FEES

Application Fee (non-refundable): $25.00 per show

Food Concession Fee
The Beaches Art Fest: $275.00
Old Town Art Shows: $275.00
Electric/water ~ $25.00

Late fee ~ $50.00 (must be included with all payments received after the deadline)


DEADLINE

Application Deadline:
The Beaches Art Fest - July 15, 2016.
Old Town Art Show - January 12, 2018.

Applications received after the deadline must include the late fee.


MENU

Please submit via email (lynn@holidayartshows.com) a complete menu including prices of products to be sold and three photos of menu items and one photo of your concession set-up.


LICENSE

Vendors must comply with all federal, state, and local business licensing requirements. Vendors may be subjected to an on-site inspection conducted by the Health Department. Be prepared.


INSURANCE

Vendors must have valid commercial general liability insurance in the amount of $1,000,000 (one million dollars). A certificate of insurance must be provided within 30 days of acceptance listing Holiday Art Shows, Inc as named insured.


PARKING

Free parking is available for vendors. Parking pass will be available at check in.


TRASH

Very important: Food vendors must deposit all trash in the dumpster. Trash bins are for customers convenience only.


RULES AND REGULATIONS:

  1. An accepted application is a commitment to vend. Cancellations must be in writing and submitted to our office 45 days prior to the show. A refund/credit will be considered on a case by case basis and only if contracted space can be reassigned to another vendor. No credits/refunds within 45 days of show. A $50.00 cancellation fee will be deducted from any refund/credit issued.
  2. Vendors must be open all hours of the show.
  3. Items offered for sale must be consistent with and limited to those listed and approved on submitted menu.
  4. Vendors will supply heavy-duty power cords which must be securely anchored to the ground. All generators must be noted on your application and must be approved by management.
  5. Vendors will supply proper sanitary water hoses, connections and valves. Water must be contained and cannot create any outside accumulation.
  6. $50.00 fee for all returned checks.
  7. All heat elements must be located out of reach of the public. Barbecues or grills that emit excessive smoke will not be permitted. Vendors cooking onsite must have a portable fire extinguisher (2A-10BC) in their booth.
  8. Vendors will keep their location and surrounding area clean and free of litter.
  9. All vendor trash much be deposited in the dumpster on the southwest side of the field. Trash bins on the field are for customer convenience only
  10. Security will be provided, however, Holiday Art Shows, Inc shall not be liable or responsible for any items lost, stolen or damaged.
  11. No alcoholic beverages are allowed on site. Management reserves the right to remove disruptive persons.
  12. Holiday Art Shows reserves the right to make final interpretation of all rules.


HOST HOTEL

CAMPING

There is no overnight camping within the city limits. We can highly recommend two local campgrounds; North Beach Camp Resort or Anastasia State Park. Both are just a short drive from the show and offer spacious campsites with full hookups.

SALES TAX

Vendors are responsible for collecting and remitting sales tax to the Florida Department of Revenue. Forms are available here.
Jacksonville Beach: 7%
Saint Augustine: 6.5%.
