Professional Jury Consulting
Professional Image and Application Audits by Lynn Wettach
37 Years of Artist & Promoter Experience
In the competitive world of juried art festivals, your application is your only voice. In the jury room, your work is judged in seconds. The reality is that your images aren't just part of the process—they ARE the process. I’ve spent years reviewing thousands of applications, and I know exactly what makes a juror pause, what makes a promoter smile, and what causes a "Decline." I’m here to help you fix the "deal-breakers" before you hit submit.

At Holiday Art Shows, our mission has always been to connect talented individuals with people who appreciate their creative vision. But I know that for many artists, the "Jury" remains a mystery. I’ve seen how one or two small adjustments can take your application from "Declined" to "Accepted." I’ve created these audits to share the promoter’s perspective with you, helping you approach every application with the confidence of an insider.

With 20 YEARS as a working artist and 17 YEARS as a promoter, I’ve seen the show circuit from every angle. I know the heart that goes into your art, and I know exactly what jurors look for in a sea of applications. I created these audits to share the promoter’s perspective with you—giving you the "insider's edge" I wish I had when I started.

Frequently Asked Questions:

1. Does this guarantee I will get into the show of my choice? "While no one can guarantee a 'Yes' from a jury, my audits are designed to remove the common red flags that lead to an automatic 'No.' I help you present your work in the best possible light to significantly increase your chances of success."

2. I don't consider myself a "Fine Artist"—is this for me? "Absolutely. Whether you are a fine artist or a maker of high-quality handcrafted goods, the standards for juried shows remain the same. I help you move your presentation from a "hobbyist" look to a polished, professional presentation. If your goal is to be accepted into juried shows I can help you prove the value of your work to the jury, regardless of your medium."

3. What happens after I pay? "You will receive an immediate confirmation email with a simple list of what I need from you (your current application photos and booth shot). Once you send those over, I get to work. Your completed audit will be delivered to your inbox within [7-10] business days after receiving your submission images."

4. Can I ask follow-up questions? "The Master Audit includes a "Final Polish" review—once you have implemented my recommendations, you can send your revised images back for one final look to ensure you’re 100% jury-ready. For the Priority Audit, I provide a concise, direct expert opinion designed to get you moving quickly toward your own corrections."

Let’s Turn Those "Declined" Notices into "Accepted"

If you have been applying to shows but aren't seeing the results you expected, it’s usually because of a "blind spot" in your presentation. You don’t have to keep guessing why the jury is passing on your work. I am here to provide the clarity you need to move forward with confidence.
